  • Students can setup an appointment, using the form at the Guidance Corner, to meet with the mental health professional for a plethora of reasons such as stress management, family issues, anxiety, depression, suicide thoughts etc.


  • Students can also get assistance with time management, organizational skills, effective communications, healthy socials skills.


  • Students will be seen as needed for acute issues, and if issues are more chronic then outside referrals with local agencies can be provided.


  • Parents can seek assistance for family related issues as it impacts the students social-emotional well-being, and academics.


  • Students will engage in local initiatives with agencies and enforcement to create awareness on issues that impact our youth. For example, human trafficking awareness made available by the City of Hollywood PD, the government and so forth.


  • Monthly, students will participate in events that bring awareness to various issues such as Anti-Bullying, World AIDS Day, Autism Speaks, Domestic Violence, International Women’s Day, Denim Day to name a few.
