The Morning and After School Program, operated by Avant Garde Academy Administration and Staff, provides morning care to students of working families who must arrive prior to the commencement of the school day.  In addition, Avant Garde Academy also provides after care for students of working families until 6:30pm on school days.  During the aftercare hours, Avant Garde Academy staff provides homework assistance, recess, and a light snack. 

Registration for the Morning and After School Program is open to Avant Garde Academy students in K through Eighth grade on a space available basis.  In the event that grade-level seats are filled students will be placed on a first come first serve wait list.  

 Parent Contract for Before and AfterCare

1. Parents and Students must read and agree to adhere to and follow all terms, conditions, rules, and regulations outlined in the Parent and Student Handbook. Parent hereby acknowledges that he/she has read the Handbook and reviewed it with his/her child(ren) and agrees to abide by the regulations therein contained.
2. Parents are to pay tuition every month online at www.app.jackrabbitclass.com. A late charge of $25 will be assessed for payments received after the 5th of the month.  Late fees must be paid upon receipt of notification. Children whose payment has not been received by the 15th of the month will be removed from the program for the remainder of the school year. This does not remove the obligation of payment.
3. Parents are to ensure that their child is picked up no later than 6:25pm. After 6:30pm a fee of $30 for the first 15 minutes is due at the time of pick up in cash. Payment must be made at the time of pick up. After the fifth late pick up a warning will be issued, any subsequent late pick-ups will result in dismissal from the program. While we understand that situations arise we cannot make accommodations. Our Avant Garde Academy staff members are also our teachers and have been at school all day. They need this time to spend with their families and prepare lessons for the following day.
4. Parents must maintain with the Morning and After School Program accurate emergency contact information, up-to-date contact numbers, and alternative pick-up representatives. Parents and/or authorized representative must sign-out his/her child each afternoon.
5. There is a one-time registration fee of $50 per student or $70 per family. 
6. Siblings will receive a 10% discount after the first full-paid child. Discounts do not apply to registration fees. 
7. Students must adhere to the Code of Conduct and Parent/Student Handbook. Parents will be notified in writing if a student is in violation of the Code of Conduct and/or the Parent/Student Handbook. A student will be dismissed from the program after three written warnings. 
8. Parents, once alerted to an emergency whether illness or weather related, please come and pick up your child. 
9. Specific guidelines are included in the Parent/Student handbook for withdrawal from the Morning and After Care program and refund of advance payments. I agree to abide by the guidelines in order to be eligible for a refund.

The monthly tuition for the program is as follows:

• Monthly Rate: $67.00
• 10% discount for 2 or more siblings
• Occasional Before Care: $15.00 per day (Cash Only)

• 10% discount for 2 or more siblings
• Occasional After Care: $30.00 per day (Cash Only)
