The mission of the school is to prepare students with the 21st-century knowledge and skill set needed to impact their surroundings from a local, national, and global perspective. This is accomplished by providing a nurturing and safe environment that promotes the development of the total child, where students are challenged intellectually, artistically, and personally.
The vision of the School is to implement an innovative and creative, student-centered learning environment where students and teachers collaborate utilizing the latest technology and achieve high academic standards and skills that will allow them to succeed in a competitive global society. The School will implement a fully integrated, purposeful STEAM and LEADER IN ME educational program to help students engage with the content and curriculum, synthesize the grade-level material with real-world experiences, and develop moral and democratic values through leadership opportunities.

Avant Garde Academy’s AGILITY Program for Language Acquisition
AGILITY: Avant Garde International Language Institute Teaching Young multi-language learners
The mission of a]Avant Garde Academy’s AGILITY program is to teach early childhood students specially designed programs that are taught by expert teachers and educational technology so that your child can rapidly increase their English language acquisition while at the same time learning skills and content required by Florida Public Schools.
The English Language acquisition program at Avant Garde will focus on rapid improvement of spoken and written English language acquisition and use through a specially designed instructional program where students will be grouped in classrooms with similarly aged peers who speak their home language and share similar goals for English language acquisition. The instructional program will be tailored to support the unique composition of that class of students and will be led by highly-qualified instructional staff trained to work with multiple language speakers and who possess an enhanced capacity to communicate with students in their home language. Students in the program will have access to proprietary technology at school and at home to increase the speed at which students can progress through English acquisition. This program will expose students to all of the grade level content and curriculum taught in AGA’s elementary program, while providing an assistive platform for students to interact with the curriculum.
